Fortified Performance is a place for those serious about optimizing their wellness, training, and performance. Our environment provides the capacity for individuals to implement their personal programs, manage their chronic pain, learn what it means to live and be well, reach their peak athletic performance, and practice toward their golf specific goals.

We believe that everyone is their own best therapist. Our wellness and performance center is not just a gym. All wellness, performance, and golf clients receive a whole body assessment, home exercise (or golf specific drills) plan, and follow up to ensure the best results. Our center supports the lifestyle, practice, and training changes that are necessary to help our clients reach their goals. We provide a home for people to heal, transform, and perform at their highest level.
Traditional rehabilitation is standardized, reactive to injury or pain, and oftentimes non-specific to a person’s needs or goals. In my experience working in the traditional medial world for 4 years and the fitness world for 10 years, I believe there is a different way to allow for healing, optimal health, and achievement for personal goals. As a sport rehabilitation specialist, I practice using a blend of thorough assessment, manual therapy, and precise exercise to maximize an individuals capacity for healing, wellness, and performance. Through my introduction into osteopathy, I adopt and practice with a “whole body” approach to sport medicine.
Not all rehabilitation cases involve pain or surgery. Oftentimes my clients have chronic degenerative conditions, such as cartilage damage, or they were unable to see desired results through a traditional physical therapy program. Each session is based upon how the body responds and is adapted based on what the body needs. My clients are given homework to do on their own or with their trainer to maximize their results. Specialties include but are not limited to- athletes/sport performance, active adults, women’s health, chronic pain.
As a performance consultant, I advise athletes and active adults on how to best train, optimize their recovery, and compete/perform at the highest level. Through a hands-on evaluation, manual therapy, specific exercise, home program, and lifestyle coaching, my ultimate goal is to fortify the body for sport, competition, performance and everyday life
Jacob has a passion for the golf swing, the sport of golf, and wellness/injury prevention. As a family nurse practitioner, he believes that fitness, mobility, and physical health allows people to achieve the greatest potential out of their lives. Jacob has been playing golf for 7 years and in that time has taken himself from a 15 to 4 handicap. He has spent countless hours over several years outside of his full time job learning different philosophies of the golf swing and understanding golf biomechanics. Coming from a collegiate football and bodybuilding background, Jacob has completely changed his life, his body, and his mind through his daily dedication to prioritizing his fitness, his golf practice, and his understanding of what professional golfers do to compete in the sport at a high level. He has increased his club head speed > 10 miles per hour over the span of 6 months through proper training and discipline. He represents Fortified Performance in his determination to prioritize his health and fitness to become the best golf athlete he can and in his passion to help others do the same
